PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – Boston College used two walks and a two-out infield single to push across a run in the bottom of the eighth inning Friday in handing the Central Michigan baseball team a 5-4 nonconference loss at North Charlotte Regional Park.
The Chippewas (3-5) are scheduled to play Villanova on Saturday morning. Boston College is 3-4.
Freshman Zach Kohn took the loss in relief of starter Pat Leatherman. Kohn walked two and struck out two over two innings.
CMU starter Pat Leatherman went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits.
