MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – When you have a starting five like the Central Michigan women’s basketball team does, scoring in double figures and limiting your opponents becomes the norm.
The Chippewas’ Mid-American Conference contest against Kent State was no exception.
CMU locked down its fifth consecutive win, topping the Golden Flashes, 88-84, on Saturday at McGuirk Arena.
It was CMU coach Sue Guevara’s 100th career win at McGuirk Arena. The Chippewas are the lone unbeaten team in MAC play, and are ranked eighth in the CollegeInsider.
