WASHINGTON D.C. – Central Michigan scored eight second-half goals to rally from a 7-4 halftime deficit on Friday in posting a 12-10 victory over American in a nonconference lacrosse game at American’s Jacobs Field.
It was the first win of the season for the Chippewas, 1-1, who go to Philadelphia on Sunday (noon) for a nonconference game against La Salle. American is 0-2.
Shannon Doyle scored four goals and Jocelyne Lemay had three to lead the Chippewas. Jessica Schuchardt and Anna Schoonover added two goals apiece and Tyra Prince had one.
