BUFFALO, N.Y. – Central Michigan recorded a pin, a technical fall and three major decision victories on Sunday in steamrolling Buffalo, 35-3, in a Mid-American Conference dual at the Bulls’ Alumni Arena.
It was CMU’s fourth consecutive dual victory as it improved to 7-2, 4-2 MAC. Buffalo, which had won eight of its previous nine duals, is 9-5, 3-3.
The dominant win completed a big weekend for the 17th-ranked Chippewas, who on Thursday upset 10th-ranked Michigan, 19-18, at McGuirk Arena.
“We had a good weekend,” CMU coach Tom Borrelli said.
