SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Central Michigan gymnastics team placed second in a nonconference quad meet at San Jose State on Sunday.
The host Spartans won the meet with a 195.050 score. CMU posted a 194.625, followed by Air Force (194.500) and Seattle Pacific (193.225).
VAULT
Bryttany Kaplan recorded a 9.800 to lead CMU on the vault, tying for fourth place. San Jose State’s Taylor Chan took first place with a 9.875. CMU’s Kennedy Rae Johnson tied her career high (9.775).
