KENT, Ohio – Shane Morris threw for 297 yards and two touchdowns to lead Central Michigan to a 42-23 Mid-American Conference victory over Kent State at the Golden Flashes’ Dix Stadium.
The win was the fourth straight for CMU, lifting it to 7-4, 5-2 MAC. The four-game win streak is the Chippewas’ longest since 2012, when it won its final three regular-season games and captured the Motor City Bowl. CMU has won four straight in the regular season for the first time since 2009.
The Chippewas close the regular season at home on Friday, Nov. 24, with a MAC game against Northern Illinois.
