Chippewas Get The Split, Win Series

WESTFIELD, Ind. - Colton Bradley pitched out of an eighth-inning jam and Central Michigan took advantage of Toledo miscues on Sunday in taking a 3-2 victory in the second game of a Mid-American Conference doubleheader at Grand Park.

Toledo won game one, 13-1, and the Chippewas, by virtue of their 5-3 win in the series opener on Friday, took the series to improve to 7-5 in the MAC. The Chippewas are 13-21-1 overall. Toledo is 12-20, 6-6.

Toledo got to CMU starter Michael Brettell (4-4) in building a 9-0 through three innings.
