Chippewas Fall At Bowling Green, 3-2

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Central Michigan outhit Bowling Green, but couldn’t get the big late when it most needed it in falling to the Falcons, 3-2, in a Mid-American Conference baseball game at the Falcons’ Steller Field.

It was just the second MAC loss of the season for the Chippewas, who are 9-2 in league play and 20-18 overall. Bowling Green is 10-24 overall, 5-9 MAC. The teams play the rubber match of their three-game series on Sunday (1 p.m.).

The Chippewas, who outhit the Falcons, 9-8, scored two runs in the seventh inning to draw to 3-2.
