ATHENS, Ohio – The Central Michigan women’s soccer team fell 3-0 to Ohio at the Bobcats’ Chessa Field to close their Mid-American Conference-opening weekend on Sunday.
The Chippewas, who are 5-4-1, 0-2 MAC, opened league play on Friday with a 2-1 loss at Kent State. They are scheduled to play host to Akron on Friday, Sept. 29 (6 p.m.) at the CMU Soccer-Lacrosse Complex. The Zips are 1-8-1, 0-2 MAC.
“It’s always a humbling reminder of how hard the MAC is,” CMU coach Peter McGahey said. “Nothing is free, it’s earned.
