MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan softball team dropped their final game of a Mid-American Conference three-game series against Kent State on Sunday at Margo Jonker Stadium.
The Chippewas fell to the Golden Flashes, 3-2, as they finished their weekend 2-1. CMU is 19-10, 4-2 MAC. Kent State is 13-18, 3-3. Central Michigan will hit the road after an eight-game homestand as it travels to Western Michigan for a doubleheader on Tuesday (1 p.m.).
“I think we’re in a good spot,” CMU coach Margo Jonker said.
