A 20-victory season is within reach for the Central Michigan men’s basketball team. The Chippewas accepted an invitation to play in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, CMU Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Alford said.
CMU will make its third appearance in four seasons in a postseason tournament when it heads to Fort Wayne to play the Mastodons at noon Monday. The game will be televised by CBS Sports Network. Tickets are $1 and are available through TicketMaster or at the door.
“That we’re one of the national TV games I think shows that our program is one that people are aware of and that we are a program on the rise,” CMU coach Keno Davis said.
