TOLEDO, Ohio – Despite Tinara Moore’s season-high 33 points, Central Michigan fell to Toledo, 74-72, in a Mid-American Conference women’s basketball game on Saturday at the Rockets’ Savage Arena.

It was CMU’s second-straight loss as it slipped to 14-6, 6-2 MAC. The Chippewas are third in the West behind first-place Northern Illinois, which broke a tie atop the division with a 101-96 win over second-place Ball State on Saturday.

Toledo snaped a three-game losing streak in improving to 13-6, 4-4.

The Chippewas, who dropped their first MAC game of the season a week ago, led by five points to open the fourth quarter and were in front, 70-68, with under a minute to play.
