Chippewa Soccer Program Adds 8

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan soccer coach Peter McGahey announced the addition of eight student-athletes to his program on Wednesday.

Seven of the players are high school seniors who will be freshmen in 2018. The eighth player is Amanda Britain, a Michigan native who is transferring from Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, Md. Britain’s sister, Morgan, is a CMU redshirt freshman goalkeeper.

Amanda Britain, who hails from Wolverine Lake and prepped at Walled Lake Central High School, is a forward who started 16 of 18 games, finishing with a goal and an assist, in 2017 for Mount St.
