In his first collegiate start, junior tight end Tyler Conklin had career high receptions, his first two touchdowns and earned a national award following Central Michigan's 30-27 win over Oklahoma State.
Conklin was named the John Mackey Tight End of the Week after hauling in seven receptions for 96 yards and two touchdowns.
The national award is given to a collegiate tight end who had the best performance in the previous week's games.
