PITTSBURGH – Robert Morris finished with a 38-14 advantage in shots on goal Saturday in handing Central Michigan a 21-6 loss in a nonconference lacrosse game at the Colonials’ Joe Walton Stadium.
CMU finished 1-1 on its season-opening road trip that started Thursday with a 20-10 win over St. Francis (Pa.). The Chippewas play Marquette (0-3) in their home opener on Thursday, Feb. 23 (2 p.m.) at the CMU Lacrosse-Soccer Stadium.
“We saw players unable to handle pressure,” CMU coach Sara Tisdale said. “We backed off and didn’t step up to the challenges that were presented.
