DeKALB, Ill. - The Central Michigan gymnastics team has consistently proven to be a force to be reckoned with in the Mid-American Conference.
The Chippewas added another piece of evidence on Sunday as it improved to 4-0, 3-0 in the Mid-American Conference with a 195.650-194.950 victory over Northern Illinois at the Huskies' Convocation Center.
It was the 19th-ranked Chippewas' second road meet -- the first being at Eastern Michigan two weeks ago. CMU won that meet, scoring 194.525.
"I was very pleased with the composure our team had," CMU coach Jerry Reighard said.
