COLUMBUS, Ohio - Bryttany Kaplan and Kennedy Rae Johnson each set career highs on the vault on Sunday in leading the Central Michigan gymnastics team in a nonconference tri-meet at Ohio State in the Buckeyes' St. John Arena.
The Chippewas got another career-best performance, this one from senior Miranda Wieczorek on balance beam. Wieczorek posted a 9.900 in the event.
The Chippewas recorded a 195.175 team score. North Carolina State (196.800) won the meet, while Ohio State (195.525) was second.
The Chippewas will compete in their final dual of the season in a Mid-American Conference contest with Ball State at McGuirk Arena on Thursday (7 p.
