LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Central Michigan women’s golf dropped its two matches Monday in the season-opening Mid-American Conference Match Play Challenge at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.
The Chippewas close the event with a match against Fort Wayne on Tuesday morning.
The Chippewas opened on Monday with a 4-1 loss to Oakland, then fell, 3-2, to host Bowling Green.
CMU’s Bria Colosky and Natalie Johnson were winners against Bowling Green. Colosky defeated Madelynn Swank, 2-up, and Johnson downed Jessica Madry, 4-and-3.
The Chippewas’ Katie Logan fell to Sarah Kern, Danielle Sawyer lost to Fran Rodriguez, and Kristen Wolfe lost to Erin Fahey.
