CORAL GABLES — Making a sick child smile is far more important than winning a football game.
Four injured Central Michigan football players – sixth-year senior Jesse Kroll, fifth-year senior Winslow Chapman, junior Eric Cooper and redshirt freshman Romello Ross – joined a trio of Chippewas cheerleaders and a group from Tulsa Sunday morning to bring joy to the face of ill children at the Baptist Children’s Hospital in Miami.

While the reason for Central Michigan and Tulsa’s trip is because of Monday’s 2:30 p.m. Miami Beach Bowl at Marlins Park, the coordinated events surrounding the football game have added value to the entire occasion.
