Central Michigan football would like nothing more than to set the record straight and prove last week’s dismal performance was not indicative of what is to come.
While it cannot have a rematch with rival Western Michigan following last weekend’s humiliating 49-10 loss at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, the Chippewas do have an opportunity for a more positive result on their home field Saturday as they host Ball State for a 3:36 p.m. homecoming kickoff.
Central Michigan is 3-2 and 0-1 in the Mid-American Conference, while the Cardinals enter with an equal 3-2 and 0-1 record following their 31-24 home loss to Northern Illinois on Oct.
