MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Kevin McKay scored 18 of his 27 points in the second half on Tuesday night and Central Michigan beat Concordia (Michigan) 98-67.
McKay was 10 of 13 from the field and 7 of 10 from the foul line while making his first career start for the Chippewas. Shawn Roundtree added 18 points, Larry Austin scored 17 and David DiLeo had 11 points and nine rebounds.
The Chippewas scored the first 14 points and led by at least 10 points for the rest of the game.
Central Michigan went into the break with a 41-25 lead and outscored the Cardinals 57-42 in the second half.
