The Central Michigan baseball team topped Georgetown 9-7 Wednesday in the Chippewas' final game in Port Charlotte, Florida.
The win gave the Chippewas their second straight after a five-game skid and improved their record to 5-7 on the season.
“It was a great team win for us today, we played really well,” said head coach Steve Jaksa.
Junior Nick Stokowski hit a two-run home run to help build the early 3-0 lead for the Chippewas in the first inning.
