FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – There were plenty of positives that coach Steve Jaksa could point to on Saturday.
A victory, however, wasn’t one of them.
The Chippewas could not deliver the big hit when they most needed it, falling 4-3 to Arkansas in front of 11,341 at the Razorbacks’ Baum Stadium.
CMU and Arkansas will play the finale of the season-opening three-game series Sunday (12:35 p.m.). Arkansas won Friday’s opener, 6-1.
“There’s such a fine line between W’s and the L’s sometimes,” said Jaksa, the Chippewas’ coach.
