Case Western Reserve University sophomore Daniel Watson was named to the D3baseball.com All-Mideast Region Third Team, following his outstanding 2016 campaign for the Spartans.
This was the first career all-region honor for Watson, who saw the majority of his playing time as the team's designated hitter, while also making appearances at first base. He was named to the All-University Athletic Association First Team last week, and was a two-time UAA Hitter of the Week selection in 2016. Watson was also selected to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week and the Honorable Mention Division III Hitter of the Week on February 29th.
