The weekly honors continued to accumulate for Case Western Reserve University's Daniel Watson, as the sophomore was selected as the NCAA Division III Honorable Mention Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, following his performance in four games last weekend.
The first baseman and outfielder hit .647 (11-for-17) with two home runs, eight runs scored, eight runs batted in and eight stolen bases on nine attempts, while slugging 1.000 for the weekend with a .667 on base percentage during the team's four games in Chillicothe, Ohio. He began the stretch by going three-for-five with three runs scored, an RBI, a walk and four stolen bases in a 19-12 win over Manchester.
