Senior Nathaniel Wahner of the Case Western Reserve University men's track and field team broke the school record in the 200-meter dash en route to placing seventh out of 31 competitors on the final day of the Kent State Golden Gala.
Wahner finished the event in a time of 22.44, besting the previous school record of 22.48, set by Wahner last season.
The Spartan men were also strong in the distance events at the meet, taking three of the top-10 spots in the 800-meter run. Sophomore Joseph Cabral finished second with a time of 1:56.
