Case Western Reserve University senior Nathaniel Wahner was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's track, following his performance at the Great Lakes Elite Meet, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University, in Delaware, Ohio on Thursday.
Wahner set a school record in the 200-meter dash, finishing second in the event with a time of 21.43 seconds. That time bested Wahner's previous school-record time of 21.64 seconds, which was set at the UAA Outdoor Championships. That time currently ranks first in the UAA and 17th in Division III. Wahner also claimed the title in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.
