Following their strong performances at the conference meet this past weekend, Case Western Reserve University senior Nathaniel Wahner and freshman Dominic Oddo have earned 2017 Outdoor Track and Field University Athletic Association Awards. Wahner has been named the UAA Men's Most Outstanding Running Events Performer, while Oddo has earned the UAA Men's Rookie of the Year honor.
Wahner ran a time of 47.64 seconds in the finals of the 400-meter dash to win the UAA title in the event. That time also set a new school-record in the event, besting the previous time of 48.
