Track & Field Looks to Better Qualifying Marks in Final Meet Before NCAAs

The Case Western Reserve University track and field team will have one final chance to improve on its qualifying marks for the NCAA Division III Championships, when the team heads to the Great Lakes Elite Meet at Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio on Thursday, May 19th.

Fans can follow the action with live results at http://timerhub.com/get_web_index.php?page=onthemarktiming.com/past_results/results.2016/greatLakesElite16/. Field events at the meet are scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start on Thursday, with events on the track scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.

Currently scheduled to compete for the Spartans are junior Temi Omilabu in the hammer throw, sophomore Cassandra Laios in the shot put and discus throw, junior Pat Shober in the javelin, senior Nicholas Heim in the hammer throw, sophomore Grant Mlack in the 400-meter hurdles, junior Nathaniel Wahner and sophomore Adrian Cannon in the 200-meter dash, freshman Rasheed Ajala and sophomore Zak Hurd in the 100-meter dash, and the men's 4x100-meter relay team of Wahner, Cannon, Hurd and Ajala.
