The Case Western Reserve University track and field teams wrapped up competition at the two-day Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Two Spartans won events at the invitational, and the team totaled 10 top-five finishes.
Senior mid-distance runner Jana Fisher and junior hurdler Mia Kilroy were the two CWRU athletes to win their events. Fisher placed first in the 3000-meter run, finishing in 10:59.89. Kilroy won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.75. The Spartans had three additional top-eight finishes in the 3000-meter run. Graduate student distance runner Anna Mollnhuber finished third in 11:27.
