Three members of the Case Western Reserve University track and field teams competed on the first day of the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the JDL Fast Track on Friday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Senior mid-distance runner Logan Singer started the day in the preliminary race of the one-mile run. He finished in 4:14.20, the 17th-best time in the race. Earlier this season, Singer set the school record with a time of 4:11.59.
Junior distance runner Cecelia Zielke followed in the women's 5000-meter run. She placed 16th, finishing with a time of 17:41.
