Case Western Reserve University senior outfielder Benjamin Stawicki was named the University Athletic Association Hitter of the Week, after helping lead the Spartans to four wins in six games last week, hitting .474 with a team-best nine runs batted in.
Stawicki went nine-for-19, including four doubles, a triple and two home runs. He also scored five runs, while slugging 1.105 with a .500 on base percentage. Highlights from his week include a one-for-two day at the plate with a solo home run and a walk in a 6-3, win over Hiram on Wednesday, and a two-for-two performance in the second game of the doubleheader against Hiram, a 10-3 CWRU win.
