The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team saw its four-game winning come to an end with a 90-71 setback at the University of Rochester on Friday night.
The loss dropped the Spartans to 1-1 in University Athletic Association play and to 7-6 overall, while Rochester raised its season ledger to 10-3 overall with a 1-1 league mark.
Both of the Spartans' leading scorers did all of their damage in the second half, with sophomore forward Connor Nally scoring 12 points on three-of-six shooting from long range, and freshman guard William FitzPatrick adding a career-high 11 points on a five-of-eight shooting effort over eight minutes of action.
