The Case Western Reserve University baseball team picked up a sweep of a pair of seven-inning games against Ohio Wesleyan University on Thursday afternoon, winning 12-8 in the early contest, followed by a 2-1 victory in the second game of the day at Nobby's Ballpark in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Spartans improved to 16-8 on the year with the two wins, including a 10-2 mark in home games. It was the second time this season that CWRU has swept Ohio Wesleyan in a doubleheader, as the Bishops dropped to 2-18 on the year following the two losses.
Junior outfielder Cole Jarrett led the way offensively, going four-for-seven at the plate with a run scored and two RBIs.
