The Case Western Reserve University Spartans put up the second-highest point total in program history with a 118-100 win over Kalamazoo College in the opening game of the 2015 Bill Sudeck Holiday Tournament, presented by the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center, on Tuesday night at Horsburgh Gymnasium. With the win, the Spartans (5-3) advance to the championship game of the tournament to face Otterbein University, which defeated Wheaton College (Ill.) in the earlier game on Tuesday. Kalamazoo (1-8) will take on Wheaton in the consolation game.
The 118 points were second only to the program record 135 scored by the Spartans against Westminster College on November 27, 2005.
