Case Western Reserve University graduate student guard Mitch Prendergast was among four Spartan scorers in double figures on Tuesday night with a team-high 18 points, as CWRU bested Thiel College 90-68 at Horsburgh Gymnasium in Cleveland, Ohio for its fourth-straight win.
The Spartans improved to 4-1 on the season, while Thiel dropped to 0-4 following the loss.
Prendergast finished the game shooting seven-of-10, including a perfect four-for-four from behind the three point line, while adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Graduate student guard Griffin Kornaker narrowly missed a double-double with 13 points and nine assists, while junior forward Cole Frilling added 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
