The Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field teams turned in strong performances at the Joe Banks Invitational, hosted by Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio on Saturday.
The men scored 79 points to finish third out of 15 teams at the meet. Otterbein University won the competition with 107.5 points, while host Ohio Northern placed second with 91 points. In the women's portion of the meet, Case Western Reserve placed fifth with 64 points, finishing behind first-place Ohio Northern (121.5 points) and second-place Cedarville (107).
The Spartan men tallied three first-place finishes, with all three coming from senior sprinter Nathaniel Wahner.
