The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team lost on Friday night at Horsburgh Gymnasium to 13th-ranked Washington (Mo.) University, 88-66. With the loss, the Spartans fall to 8-5 on the season and 1-1 in the University Athletic Association. The Bears are 11-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
First-year forward Cole Frilling led the Spartans with 11 points, and sophomore guard Robert Faller added 10 points. Senior forward Michael Hollis led the team with seven rebounds, while sophomore forward Ryan Newton added eight points and collected five rebounds.
