Case Western Reserve University senior defensive lineman Dayton Snyder (West Lafayette, Ind. / West Lafayette) was selected as a recipient of the prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, awarded to just 174 student-athletes annually, who excel at an elite level both on and off the field.
Snyder is the 22nd Case Western Reserve athlete ever to win the award, and the 11th since the 2006 season. He is the first CWRU football player since Joey Baum in 2010.
Snyder is a three-time All-University Athletic Association honoree, claiming a spot on the conference's first team this season.
