Case Western Reserve University inducted a program-high 63 members in to the 2020 Van Horn Society, which recognizes student-athletes at the University that have recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher and have junior or senior academic standing at the University.
The 63 inductees surpassed the previous program-high of 59, set in 2019. Thirty of the honorees received entry to the Society for the second time in their Spartan careers.
The honorees were recognized at the fifth-annual induction ceremony on Tuesday, December 8, which was conducted virtually. Speakers at the event included CWRU Interim President Scott Cowen, Vice President for Student Affairs Lou Stark, James C.
