Case Western Reserve University sophomore quarterback Drew Saxton was named the University Athletic Association Offensive Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week, after helping lead the 21st/17th-ranked Spartans to a 34-26 win at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on Saturday. Saxton threw for four touchdowns in the game and completed 30-of-51 pass attempts (58.8%) for 420 yards, the fourth-most in a single game in program history, while also catching a 19-yard pass on a reverse in the second quarter. He connected with junior wide receiver Colt Morgan on a pair of five-yard touchdowns in the first half, before finding sophomore running back Donald Day III for a 28-yard score with 9:13 remaining in the third quarter, and junior wide receiver Chase Witte with a 30-yard strike with 6:28 remaining in the third period.
