Case Western Reserve University senior quarterback Drew Saxton was named the Offensive Player of the Week for the Presidents' Athletic Conference, after leading the Spartans to a 14-10 upset win over 25th-ranked Washington & Jefferson University at DiSanto Field on Saturday night.
Saxton completed 22-of-32 passes for 297 yards and a pair of touchdowns, including the game-winning 59-yard pass to sophomore wide receiver Ethan Dahlem with 4:21 left in the fourth quarter. His other touchdown was a 42-yard pass to sophomore wide receiver Noah Coyne with 13 seconds left in the second quarter, giving the Spartans a 7-0 lead.
