Case Western Reserve University senior quarterback Drew Saxton capped off a 46-second, 91-yard drive with a nine-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Lucas DeCaro with 20 seconds on the clock, giving the Spartans a 42-38 come-from-behind win over Geneva College during CWRU's Homecoming Game at DiSanto Field on Saturday.
The Spartans have won back-to-back games and improved to 4-3 overall on the season, including a 3-3 record in Presidents' Athletic Conference games. Geneva fell to 2-5 following the loss, including a 2-4 PAC record.
Trailing by three after a Geneva field goal broke a 35-35 tie with 1:10 to play in the game, the Spartans would start the next drive from their own nine-yard line with 1:06 to play and no timeouts remaining.
