Case Western Reserve University graduate student guard Mitch Prendergast was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week and Head Coach Todd McGuinness was selected as the NCAA Division III Coach of the Week by HoopDirt.com following the team's two wins at home last week against the University of Rochester and Emory University.
Prendergast averaged 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals over the two games, shooting 48.4% overall (15-31) and 47.4% (9-19) from three-point range. He notched the first double-double of his career during Friday night's 90-87 overtime win against Rochester, finishing the game with 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds with four assists and two steals.
