Despite a 20-point effort from senior guard Jimmy Holman, the Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team suffered a 70-64 loss to Adrian College at Horsburgh Gymnasium on Saturday night.
The Spartans will head into a 24-day layoff with a 4-3 overall record following Saturday's loss, while Adrian improved to 6-2 overall with the victory.
Following a dunk by sophomore Eric Black with 14:24 left in the first half, the Spartans jumped out to a six-point lead, 10-4. However, that would prove to be the largest lead of the contest for CWRU.
