Case Western Reserve University senior second baseman Rocco Maue was selected as the second baseman on D3baseball.com Team of the Week and was named the University Athletic Association Hitter of the Week, while sophomore right-handed pitcher Matt Levine was named the UAA Pitcher of the Week, following the Spartans' sweep of doubleheaders against SUNY Fredonia and St. John Fisher College over the weekend.
Maue batted .500 with three home runs and eight runs batted in to pace the Spartans' offense last weekend. He was eight-for-16 at the plate with six runs, while also collecting a pair of triples, walking twice, stealing two bases on as many attempts, registering a pair of sacrifice flies, and was hit by a pitch as well during the weekend.
