Case Western Reserve University senior wide receiver Brendan Lynch was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week and the University Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week, while freshman safety Patrick Crossey was selected as the Presidents' Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.
During Saturday's 55-0 win at Grove City College, Lynch caught nine-passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns, matching the school record for receiving yards in a game set by former Spartan receiver Dave Wooley in 1997 against the University of Chicago. In addition, the nine receptions matched Lynch's career high, while the three touchdowns set a new career-best mark for the senior.
