Highlighting the Spartan performances on Friday evening, senior Joe Ledger and Nathaniel Wahner shattered school records in their respective events as the Case Western Reserve University men's and women's track and field team finished competition at the Greater Cleveland Colleges Meet.
The Spartan men finished in first place of five team teams at the meet having scored 288 points, while the women finished second of five teams with 138 points.
A distance runner, Ledger finished first in the 1,000-meter run with a new school-record time of 2:34.56. The time bested the previous school record of 2:36.
