With just two weeks remaining before the 2019 University Athletic Association Championships, the Case Western Reserve University track and field teams appeared to be in top form on Saturday, with graduate student Cassandra Laios and junior Abbey Waltz setting program records at the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships in Delaware, Ohio.
Laios earned All-Ohio honors with a first-place finish in the hammer throw with mark of 55.05 meters to best her previous school record of 54.52 meters. Laios added another All-Ohio honor in the shot put, placing second with a toss of 13.29 meters, and in the discus by finishing second with a mark of 42.
