Two more school records fell for the Spartans on Friday, as Case Western Reserve University graduate student Cassandra Laios topped her program-best mark in the hammer throw and set a new school-record in the discus at the Harrison Dillard Twilight, hosted by Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio on Friday.
Laios finished third in the hammer with a mark of 55.96 meters, smashing her previous school-record mark of 55.05 meters set earlier this season. In addition, Laios added a first-place finish in the discus with a new school-record mark of 45.11 meters, which bests the previous school record of 44.
